CM-911: A New Solid Pickling Inhibitor
CM-911 is a new type of solid pickling inhibitor, and another new achievement since the nitric acid inhibitor Lan-5 and multi-purpose pickling corrosion inhibitor Lan-826 were created. The CM-911 technology achieved the Gansu Provincial Government Appraisal in December 1993, and won the second prize in the Gansu Provincial Scientific and Technological Progress competition in 1996. The invention of CM-911 is the first creation of solid pickling inhibitor in China, and reached international advanced level in the 1990s. This technology was developed and created by our principal scientist.
Properties and Characteristics
1. CM-911 is a pale yellow solid powder, non-flammable, non-explosive, has no toxins, pollutants, or noticeable odor. It is easily packaged, transported, stored, and carried.
2. CM-911 dosage is small. A 1m3 cleaning acid requires 1kg of CM-911. The effects of corrosion is excellent, stable, safe, reliable, and inexpensive.
3. CM-911 can be used in a dozen types of washing and corrosion acid pickling.
1. CM-911 in combination with nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, aminosulfonic acid, and many more types of chemical cleaning acid can be used to remove calcium carbonate, iron oxide, sulfate, and a broad range of various stains including combination or mixed-type stains.
2. CM-911 can be used to clean stains on metal surfaces of carbon steel, stainless steel, brass, red copper, aluminum, low alloy steel, and many other combinations of these and other alloys.
3. CM-911 can be used to clean various boilers, coolers, heaters, reactors, engine cooling systems, receptacles, sewer, air conditioning systems and other equipments. CM-911 is used in cleaning industrial and residential equipments, including the industries of petroleum, chemical, machinery, power, telecommunications, transportation, light industry, culture, education, health and services.
Directions of Usage
1. Select the type of acid and cleaning conditions by the structure of the equipment, materials and the type of stains.
2. Determine the dosage of CM-911 by the selected type of acid.
3. Use CM-911 as follows: add measured water → add CM-911, dissolved completely with hot water and stir evenly → add the measured acid and stir evenly → clean the equipment by conventional chemical cleaning process.
